This page contains information about the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in the School of Electrical Engineering.


Bachelor’s degree programme (180 ECTS)

The School of Electrical Engineering has a bachelor’s degree programme which students can apply for after secondary school (e.g. Finnish lukio). When students are admitted into the bachelor’s degree programme, they are at the same time given the right to complete a master’s degree.

The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Electrical Engineering has three specializations which prospective students can apply for:


Master’s programmes (120 ECTS)

Students who have completed a Bachelor of Science Degree or a suitable university of applied sciences degree can apply directly for master-level studies which will give the students a Master of Science in Technology Degree. In fall 2015 three new master's programmes are launched. The teaching language of the programmes is English.

In addition the School of Electrical Engineering offers one major in the Life Science Technologies programme.

The School of Electrical Engineering also participates in one Erasmus Mundus programme:
